CSR Initiative by Horibo India to Human Empowerment Foundation
Human Empowerment Foundation received a corporate social responsibility contribution from HORIBA India, a wholly owned subsidiary of HORIBA, Ltd., a global leader in technology for analytical and measurement solutions. HORIBA India distributed Table tennis equipment to the Human Empowerment Foundation, which aids both national and international players at the Khelo India Stag Table Tennis Academy.
The contribution was made to support the players being coached by Mr. Sandeep Gupta, an International Table Tennis Coach and recipient of the prestigious Dronacharya Award. Dr. Rajeev Gautam, Corporate Officer of HORIBA, Ltd., and President of HORIBA India Pvt. Ltd., led this initiative, and the distribution ceremony took place on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the academy.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. V K Bawa, Former Secretary of the Petroleum Sports Promotion Board and Former Treasurer of the Table Tennis Federation of India, Mr. Uday Shankar, Senior Vice President, Delhi State Table Tennis Association, Mr. Balbir Singh Lamba, Joint Secretary, Delhi State Table Tennis Association, as well as HORIBA India delegates – Ms. Kanika Thakur, Lead of Corporate Communication, Mr. Sourav Taneja, Manager of Events in Corporate. Communication, and Mani Rajesh Kumar, Regional Business Manager (North & East), along with the parents of the players.
